Review: Tim Harrison
The entire Shell yeargroup, joined by pupils for Cheam, Pinewood and St Francis Prep Schools, enjoyed a fascinating, engaging and exciting lecture demonstration in the Memorial Hall presented by Tim Harrison from the University of Bristol.
The School of Chemistry, University of Bristol, is a HEFCE Centre for Excellence in Teaching and Learning (CETL). Tim is Outreach Director and School Teacher Fellow at the School of Chemistry.
We enjoy an excellent relationship with our colleagues at University of Bristol. The College is committed to offering our pupils the chance to work with, and alongside, academics from this world leading Science department. Later this term 80 of our Hundreds pupils will have the chance of carrying out experimental work in the undergraduate labs at Bristol as part of the extension programme we offer our pupils at IGCSE. There can be no better exposure to real Chemistry than this.
