Commemoration and Prize Day

Commemoration and Prize Day took place at the College on Saturday with around 2,000 people in attendance for what proved to be a memorable occasion.

The day began with a Commemoration Service in Chapel before the prize giving ceremony in the Memorial Hall for Upper Sixth. The busy morning also included the Shell inter-house tug-of-war in Court, inter-house sports on Hamersley and the start of the XI Cricket fixture against the Blues.

After midday, the entire College community gathered on Hamersley for a spectacular sky dive display before an address by the Master and the Chairman of Council, Lord Malloch-Brown.

Picnics were then enjoyed in view of the action on the XI, before parents were able to continue enjoying the wide range of afternoon activities that included displays, the Big Band and Ensembles Concert, the Shell Play and Prize Giving for the Lower School.

Thank you to all involved for making Commemoration and Prize Day such a memorable one. A gallery of images can be viewed here.
