1871 Challenge Cup Rugby Match
On Sunday 13th December at 1.30pm the inaugural 1871 Challenge Cup rugby match will be played between a Marlborough College Common Room XV and Marlborough RFC.
The fixture is so named because Marlborough RFC was a founding member of the Rugby Football Union in 1871 and at the time the Club was entirely made up of boys and beaks from the College. It was felt that an annual social fixture in aid of a good cause would be an appropriate event to mark this shared history.
Please do come along to support and feel free to make a contribution to our chosen charity SKRUM.
