2011 Summary
For the first time this year, the core subjects (English Language, English Literature, Double Science, Mathematics, and Modern Languages) have all been IGCSE examinations.
IGCSE examinations are widely recognized as being more demanding than GCSE examinations, and that results have equalled the overall performance of previous years is testament to the strength of the Hundred cohort. 41% A* grades is a 21% improvement on the 32% achieved last year, and 8 pupils achieved straight A* grades, with one pupil achieving a total of 12 A* grades. 73% A* and A grades is a slight fall on last year but is still the second highest percentage in the past 5 years.
