(I)GCSE Results

2017 Summary

Huge congratulations to last year’s Hundred, who have received an excellent set of GCSE grades.

This has been the culmination of real commitment and dedication by our pupils and staff, resulting in almost 40% of entries being awarded A*, and 36 pupils gaining 8 or more A* grades.

There are many individual success stories at all levels within the year group, but special congratulations go to:

- Arabella Harris (MO) and Nicholas Rusinov (SU) who each achieved 12 A* grades;
- Evie McVeigh (MM), Kitty Lee (NC), Harriet Place (NC) and Lissy Thomas (NC) who each achieved 11 A* grades;
- Petra Bigham (MO), Gabriel Coleman (SU), Max Freeman (LI), Toby Hargrove (LI), Zac Place (CO), Marcus Redpath (C3), Gleb Trotsenko (C1) and Luz Wollocombe (MO), who each achieved 10 A* grades.

While a Marlburian education proudly continues to encompass much more than just academic achievement, it is hugely pleasing to see so many pupils perform well in this important sphere, laying firm foundations for future success.
