OM University Destinations

This summer’s A-level and Pre-U results were outstanding; the proportion of entries awarded A* (or Pre-U equivalent) was the second highest since its introduction in 2010, and so it was no surprise that the great majority of this year’s Leavers were accepted onto their first-choice university course.

All of the familiar favourites are on this year’s destinations’ list: Bristol, Cambridge, Edinburgh, Exeter, Imperial, Oxford, to name just six. 77% of students accepted offers from Russell Group universities, 82% from Sutton Trust Top 30 UK universities.

These place alongside many offers from universities further afield. In the US, from Harvard, New York, Virginia, UC Riverside, Duke, Northeastern, Santa Clara, Brown, and Swarthmore. In Canada, from McGill, Western, and Toronto. In Spain, from IE University, Madrid. In the Middle East, from NYU, Abu Dhabi.
