Dancy House

Welcome to Dancy Boarding House

Dancy is the newest girls’ house, which opened with 12 Shell girls in September 2016 in its temporary location in The Hermitage.

It is named after John Dancy (Master, 1961-72) and his wife, Angela, who pioneered the introduction of girls to Marlborough in 1968. The impressive new building opened in September 2018, coinciding with the 50th year of girls at Marlborough College.

The new House accommodates 70 girls and occupies a central location, conveniently close to all of the College facilities.
