Basketball came to increased prominence at Marlborough College in the early 1980’s. It is played both by boys and by girls from any year group, either as a competitive team game or as a club sporting option.
Training continues throughout the Michaelmas and Lent terms with regular fixtures for the Boys’ U15 & U18 teams in the Lent Term. Able girls play with the boys when there are no girls’ fixtures. Up to eight fixtures are played each season against the College’s traditional public school rivals.
The team plays in the College Sports Hall, a splendid multi-purpose indoor facility.
