On Wednesday 5th March, Marlborough College CCF underwent its biennial Inspection. In addition to the Parade, there were field exercises and a tea held in the College Armoury.
 

 A Working Inspection of Training

 

The Contingent laid on a 'working inspection of training' which included an obstacle course, field cookery, small-bore shooting and a blank-firing ambush.

The CCF at Marlborough

The Contingent was inspected by Major General WG Cubitt CBE, GOC London District. The visiting team included Lieutenant Colonel Vernon, Coldstream Guards, Captain Oakley, Irish Guards and the Regimental Sergeant Major of the 1st Battalion, The Grenadier Guards.

The tour of training was hosted by the Cadet RSM, James Staight, B House and events were concluded with a fine tea in the Armoury which has heavily attended by the Hundreds cadets.
