Temporary Closure of the College Chapel
The College Chapel is currently closed and will be until further notice. Work carried out during an extensive general repair programme has revealed serious defects in the stonework; temporary closure is required on safety grounds.
Sunday Services will take place in the Memorial Hall until further notice.
The Christmas Carol Services (Friday 5th – Sunday 7th December)
The Christmas Carol Services will now take place in St Mary’s Church in Marlborough (at the east end of the High Street). Arrangements for these have necessarily had to be substantially altered; those affected have been informed directly.
The Lent Term Choral Concert
The 2009 Choral Concert (a performance of Orff’s Carmina Burana), which had been scheduled for Sunday 15th March and which would have required full access to the Chapel Sanctuary, will no longer be feasible and it is with considerable regret that we have decided to cancel this event.
