Clay Pigeon Shooting

Master in charge:       Mr S M D Dempster

Clay pigeon shooting was re-introduced at Marlborough, as an activity for the Hundred (Year 11) and Upper School, in 2005.

Lessons are organised at Barbury Shooting School, near Wroughton, which is about twenty minutes away from the College.

Lessons take place on Monday afternoons in the first half of the Michaelmas and Summer terms. The cost is £200 for a session of 5 lessons. All equipment is provided but students can keep their own guns at the shooting school.

There is an annual House match held on the College grounds. Trophies are awarded for the best team and the top gun. Occasionally there are matches against other schools.
