Pupils recently returned to Marlborough following the annual Remove (Year10) exchange with the Collège de Notre-Dame de Bury near to Paris.
Marlburians enjoyed the hospitality of their host families, had a taste of life in a French school and took part in various trips. In Paris, they boated down the Seine to the brand new Musée des Arts Premiers and visited Beaubourg and Montmartre.
They returned full of enthusiasm for the French language and way of life, not to mention for the Galette des Rois, which saw many of them crowned at the dinner table...
We look forward to welcoming the French students back to Marlborough in June. |
