The Department aims to ensure that every pupil entering Marlborough will leave the College competent and confident in the use of ICT and familiar with a range of commonly used ICT applications.

Programmes of Study

Pupils in the Lower School follow an examined ICT Skills course called 'London Learning'. In the Shell (Year 9) this focuses on a good understanding of standard office applications and the ability to use the Internet intelligently, whilst in the Remove & Hundred (Years 10 & 11) the focus shifts to the application of these skills to meet the rigours of coursework and to improve learning.

Pupils in the Lower Sixth follow the European Computer Driving Licence (‘ECDL’) course.
