The Independent Schools Inspectorate (ISI) is the agency responsible for the inspection of schools in membership of the Independent Schools Council.

Full Inspection Report

Independent schools are inspected every six years. In January 2008, eight inspectors spent four days at Marlborough.

ISI Inspection Reports follow a common format and comment upon the quality of education, the quality of care and relationships and the effectiveness of governance and management in the schools they have inspected. ISI Reports conclude with a summary of the Inspection's main findings and recommendations for improvement.
