We expect our pupils to develop a range of study skills and learning strategies that will enable them to study successfully across subject areas.
The development of effective higher level reading and writing skills is crucial to academic success and play a central role in learning support lessons. We also show students a range of approaches to revision and exam technique. Our aim is for pupils to develop confidence in their own learning so that they can succeed academically whilst developing the skills that will equip them for life at university and beyond. Pupils usually attend one thirty-five minute tutorial per week with a specialist teacher.
