C3

Housemaster: Sean Dempster
Resident House Tutor:      James Lyon Taylor

C3 is housed in a modern building next to the water meadows and adjacent to the two trout lakes. To the rear of the building there is a very large grass playing field bounded by the river Kennet. Despite its rural location, C3 is just a two minute walk from Court. C3 adjoins Mill Mead, a girls’ House, and there is a communal area where the boys and girls socialise. Several joint events are organised each year.

Sean Dempster was appointed as Housemaster of C3 in September 2005 following five years as Resident House Tutor and nine years as Head of the Biology Department. He has coached boys’ and girls’ hockey at all levels and, before the Pack was dissolved, was master-in-charge of the Marlborough College Beagles. He currently runs the Fly Fishing Club, clay pigeon shooting and the Natural History Society. Sean is married to Cath, and they have two children.
