The Information Technology Department is responsible for the development and delivery of information technology services to the whole of the College’s community.

There are two key strands of the operation: the ICT Teaching department aims to improve the information technology skills of all pupils and staff, and to develop and support the use of ICT across the curriculum; whilst IT Technical Services provides a telephone support service and a drop-in facility to support pupils’ equipment.

ICT is taught formally in the Shell and Remove years as a skills-based qualification and to develop pupils’ awareness of the rapidly changing world of technology; its potential and the issues.
