Tim Marvin

Tim Marvin has been Housemaster of Preshute since September 2005. His early education was spent abroad. After Radley, he gained a place at St Catherine's College, Oxford to read Earth Sciences. 

After working for Mars UK Ltd in Slough, he started training as an accountant with PWC in London. From here, he moved to teach at Pangbourne College and then, five years later, to Cheltenham College. At both schools, he served as a resident tutor and was extensively involved in sport. 

Tim was appointed to teach Chemistry at Marlborough in 1999. He has coached a variety of sports including, for three years, the Rugby XV. Prior to taking up his appointment as Housemaster, he was a tutor in C1 House.

Tim is married to Heidi who, was Head of PE at Queen Anne's School, Caversham and is an ex-England international lacrosse player.  She is now Director of Sport at St Mary's Calne. They have two daughters Molly and Kitty.
