Chapel Choir
The Chapel Choir is one of the most high-profile pupil groups at the College. It comprises sixty auditioned singers and sings weekly at the Sunday Eucharist as well as major occasions such as the Advent and Christmas Carol Services, Prize Day Services, OM Club Day as well as joining the two hundred singers of the Choral Society in the annual Choral Concert.
In addition to College events there are two or three visits a year to a local cathedral or Oxford College to sing Choral Evensong. There is a biennial summer tour, the most recent of which took place in Paris where the choir performed concerts at Chartres Cathedral, St Sulpice as well as taking part in a Mass at Notre Dame; at all three venues the choir received a standing ovation. The next tour is currently being planned to Rome in 2012.
In 2010 the choir premiered two short works by Geoffrey Burgon which had been commissioned by the College and the Marlborough Foundation to celebrate the restoration of the Chapel. These works were amongst his last compositions and were performed posthumously following the sad news of his death in September, 2010.

Chamber Choir
The Chamber Choir is a small group of between fifteen and twenty of the College's best singers. They perform a mix of sacred and secular music. In recent years they have performed Choral Evensong at Portsmouth Cathedral and St Peter's, Oxford. Every year they sing May Day Madrigals on the Bradleian Arches. In addition to College events it is expected that they take part in external events in local churches. In 2010, they performed a Deanery Advent Carol Service in Ramsbury Church.
Junior Singers
The Junior Singers is a group of between twenty and thirty Shell girls who meet every week in the Michaelmas and Lent Terms and perform in some concerts and Chapel services. In recent years they have sung one piece in the Advent Carol Service which is one of the most popular College events of the year as well as singing for a College Eucharist on Sunday morning.
In addition to sacred repertoire they sing a mixture of secular works including songs from musicals. During the Summer Term a smaller group of girls is invited to sing some more challenging repertoire to perform at the end of term concert.
