French Exchange

It was a pleasure to welcome our partner school in France to Marlborough last week.

The pupils of the Lycée Jules Verne donned school uniform for the first time ever, and sampled all aspects of Marlborough life; lessons, chapel, the observatory, Fives, boarding house breakfasts, the play, the Mount House - their week was a busy one, and rich in unfamiliar but stimulating experiences.

They made it to Highclere and to Avebury & Bath, to glimpse a varied cross-section of the history and culture of England through the ages. They made it home before the weather got too inhospitable, with a lot of tales to tell.
