We are very pleased to be informed that two Art School students have been commended and shortlisted for the Royal Academy A Level Summer Exhibition Online 2012. 1,450 submissions in total were entered by Sixth Form Art students from across the United Kingdom.

This is the first year since the competition began in 2007 that our Upper School students have submitted their artworks. Alice Campbell’s (MO U6) two plate colour etching print titled "Had I rushed back to you too promptly" and Hugo Higginson’s (BH U6) acrylic painting "The Drowning of Empathy" were entered electronically in April.

Many congratulations to Alice and Hugo. Their shortlisted artworks can be viewed online by clicking on the second page of the Royal Academy of Arts website.
