Art Degree and Foundation Course Achievements

Category: Art, General, Pupil Achievements

At the close of an exceptionally busy term within the Art School, this year we are able to celebrate the commendable successes by eight of our students, who have achieved highly regarded offers to study for an Art degree or Foundation course.

Applying for Art based, Further Education courses is an increasingly challenging, detailed and time consuming undertaking. Each student has needed to create a carefully considered personal statement and portfolio application consisting of final resolutions, design planning work, observational drawings and other creative components. At Marlborough College, we support our students with portfolio preparation tutorials and mock interviews. Therefore, at interview, we are confident that our students will be able to convey their knowledge, passion and commitment to their creative studies and artistic future.

Kieran Catton (TU U6) and Lottie Greenwood (NC U6) have impressed by gaining various offers to study for a BA in Architecture. Henry Harte (LI U6) is due to study for a Film-making BA and Olly Dundas (TU U6) will take up a Photography degree course. Ami Jackson (MM U6) and Ella Scammell (LI U6) have achieved places for their one year Art Foundation. Finally, Jemima Small (EL U6) is to study for a Costume Design BA and Christie Robinson (MM U6) has degree offers for Interior Design.
