Video: Chapel Choir in Kraków

Category: Music, General, Trips

Members of the College Chapel Choir have just returned from an enjoyable and successful five-day tour to Kraków and the surrounding areas.

The choir gave five performances, singing at Masses and concerts at some remarkable and contrasting churches, including Arka Pana, and St Katherine’s in Kraków.

One of our cultural excursions included a visit to the amazing salt mine in Wielicza, which began mining in the 13th century and reaches a depth of 327 metres. We were fortunate to be allowed the opportunity to give an impromptu performance in the huge underground chapel, carved in the salt.
