Sporting Clay Shield

Category: Sport, General, Pupil Achievements

The Marlborough A team retained the Sporting Clay Shield on Tuesday 11th October, for the sixth year in a row, beating 18 other teams from ten schools.

This was the biggest competition that we have hosted at Barbury Shooting School who managed the event with customary efficiency and good humour.

Henry Gouriet (C3 L6) came second out of about 95 competitors with 33/40.

Tom Williams (BH Re 32/40) shot extremely well in his first competition for the College.

The other members of the team were Oscar Stratton (C3 Hu), Piers Tabor (B1 Hu) and Oliver Phelps (LI U6, capt).
