Kit collected for SKRUM

Category: General, Community

This term the Charity Think Tank has collected second hand and unused kit for the Swaziland based charity SKRUM. It will be taken back to Swaziland by Wilson Dlamini at Christmas. During half term, emails were sent out to both parents and members of Marlborough College asking them if they could donate any sports kit for our collection. This came back as a large mound of almost 450 pieces of kit which, over the course of the second half of term, has been carefully processed and packaged for Swaziland. SOS Kit Aid has kindly arranged for the sports kit to be sent out with Mr Dlamini on his return to Swaziland over Christmas. Along with the kit we managed to raise £1,400 during our Christmas Carol Service for SKRUM. The Charity Think Tank is hugely grateful to all parents, pupils and members of staff that have donated to SKRUM and to SOS Kit Aid for sending it out.
