US Universities at Marlborough

Category: General

Last week Marlborough College‚Äôs new Guidance Centre was a hub for International Admissions Counsellors from respective US Universities. Multiple presentations were given from different types of Universities. New York University (NYU), which is located in the heart of New York City teamed up with Emory University, which is located in Atlanta Georgia, a major hub of business, to give the students a valuable comparison of the two.  Middlebury College, a small liberal arts College, gave a presentation, which again provided the students with worthwhile insight into the US admissions process and what Universities look for in international applicants.

All three schools spoke about the admission process and specifics about their given Universities. This provided a wonderful open forum for the students, as they were able to ask questions and really interact with the counsellors directly. 45 students mainly from the Lower Sixth attended the talks; a strong indication that interest in International Universities is growing steadily at Marlborough College.
