2nd October 2010

 Harold Radford Rosebowl Tournament

We will be holding this again at the College this year. The format will be the same as last year with a round robin and then semi/final. We will combine this with the OM v school fixture. Please put it in your diary and we can confirm details and numbers nearer the time...

Club Report 2010  Alex Wildman

The Courtiers Squash team is still suffering from an ill-considered “youth policy” which maintains the average age of our players at well over 40. It was good though to welcome Gordon Schofield to the team and we hope to be able to arrange our future fixtures around his business trips to the UK.

In the Londonderry Cup we lost a very close match to Harrow in the quarter finals. A good turnout for the Rosebowl Tournament at the College made the day most enjoyable, with 7 Oms and 7 pupils contesting the trophy. I hope that we can attract even more OM’s to the 2010 event this autumn.

Thanks as ever to our core team players Nick Fallowfield, Neil Hinds, Nick Atkins, Alastair Niven, Alastair Campbell, Richard Spender, Charlie Horrell, Mark Skull, Roger Preston and Gordon Schofield. Please do get in touch if you are keen to play...

Club Report 2009  Alex Wildman

The Courtiers Squash season suffered from a combination of the Londonderry Cup now being played over the Summer and the participation of Millfield in the competition for the first time in many years. Marlburian success (Old or current) is however guaranteed in the Harold Radford Rosebowl Tournament to be played at the College on Saturday 10 October, it is open to all OM’s and pupils and please contact Alex Wildman if you would like to play on the day.
