Commander Christopher Alan Woolger Russell, OBE, (B1 1942-45), died on 13th January, 2008.
Commander David Patrick Blackwood Ryan, OBE (CO 1950-55) died suddenly on 16th November 2007. Following his Memorial Service in December, Roderick Innes (C3 1951-53) kindly sent a fascinating obituary detailing Commander Ryan's career as a submariner.
Air Commodore Kit North-Lewis (B2 1932-35) died on 25th March 2008, a few days after reaching his 90th birthday. He is survived by his second wife, Susan, and a son and daughter from his first marriage to Virginia Lockhart (deceased).
Alastair Ross Goobey, CBE (SU 1959-64) died on 1st February. He was a prominent fund manager who campaigned to make public companies more accountable. Also see the Guardian and Times Obituaries.

Sir Richard Rougier (C2 1945-50), colourful and controversial high court judge, died on 25th October 2007.
Colin Macleod Ogilvie (B1 1935-1939), who died on 4th April 2007, made a significant contribution to medicine locally, nationally and internationally
