Personal Background

I was asked to join the committee as Treasurer about three years ago.

Having studied for a Business Finance degree at Manchester University, I joined Price Waterhouse to study for my accountancy qualification. As soon as I qualified I left and joined Jardine Insurance Brokers. I have been in this field ever since.

Currently I am FD of a medium sized insurance broker that operates predominantly in the Lloyds and London international insurance markets.

Comments

My principal role within the committee is to administer the finances of the Club. There is a certain amount of financial administration as well as reporting of financial information to the committee through our quarterly meetings and the Club in general with the publication of the Club accounts in the Marlburian magazine that is published annually.
