The Marlborough Mindset
Marlborough Mindset
Our proprietary educational philosophy builds on our rich tradition of educational excellence and also looks to the future by embracing the latest research on how young minds develop and how character is built. In a rapidly changing world, where the impact of technology is still unfolding, the right mindset, character and self-awareness will empower our pupils to thrive.

At Marlborough, academic life is built on more than results. We cultivate curious, ambitious individuals who learn with kindness, lead with resilience, and think with creativity. With 30 A level and 25 GCSE subjects to choose from, and over 25 academic societies, there is something to inspire everyone.

Our extensive co-curricular programme allows pupils to find their passion, wherever their curiosity may take them. Teamwork is key, from the creative arts to the sports pitches, and pupils learn to be collaborative, whilst showing integrity, taking individual responsibility, and developing resilience.

Pastoral care at Marlborough underpins our commitment to developing character, fostering community and inspiring ambition. Through strong relationships, individual support and a culture of belonging, pupils are encouraged to show integrity, serve others, embrace individuality and develop the leadership skills needed to flourish in a changing world.
