American University Fairs
Last week, 25 students went to London to attend a number of American University Fairs featuring Universities from all over the country including NYU, Middlebury, Bowdoin, Harvard, Yale and Stanford to name a few. Some Canadian Universities were also present which added to the variety.
The students were able to chat and gather important information that will help them make the big decision as to where they go after their time at Marlborough College. King’s College Wimbledon hosted the event in a small venue on Thursday, allowing the Lower Sixth to take full advantage of the opportunity and really get all their questions regarding SATs, financial aid and the differences in American v British education answered. Saturday was at a larger venue with over 150 Universities present at the Fulbright Fair. It is that time of year where personal statements and applications are in full swing. The fairs provided pivotal information and were seen as a great help to all.
