Scholars’ Trip to Bristol

Lower Sixth Scholars visited Bristol on Monday 6th May, taking part in a sort of ‘perambulatory conference’, and we walked several miles in the sunshine, making frequent stops.

Each scholar gave a presentation on an aspect of the city: the programme involved as many academic subjects as possible. Therefore we had plenty of history and art, literature and music, politics, geography and economics, RS and philosophy, engineering, physics, a little chemistry though it should be said not much biology. We finished up in a vast restaurant which served different cuisines from across the world.
