Junior Art Scholarship Day

The recent Junior Art Scholarship day saw 17 pupils from 16 Prep Schools visit the College for a day’s drawing from observation in the Mount House Gallery.

In preparation, each were asked to bring a folder containing five works they are most happy with and two recent workbooks containing drawings, photographs and recordings. No easy task to edit! During the course of the Scholarship Day each candidate showed and discussed their work, interests and inspirations.

The field was strong and the standard very high. Each of the 17 candidates are excellent, committed Artists. Those who will be chosen as Art Scholars will be informed shortly.
