Seventeen Marlborough College pupils, across all years, and two members of the Art Department staff contributed co-curricular artwork towards an online exhibition, the proceeds going towards a newer heating and sound system in Lismore Cathedral in County Waterford, Ireland. This fundraising activity was organised by a former Marlborough College parent, Juju Keane, and co-directed by Susan Wingfield, who wrote to thank our pupils.
‘Thank you very much for donating and for the pupils’ work. Our pre-sale exhibition at Lismore Castle ended on 20th November. It was a great success! As you can see we sold the majority of the work you and your pupils submitted. Thank you very, very much for this huge contribution of €1,425 for the project. Lots of happy customers for Marlborough College Art! Please mention a HUGE thank you to all.’
A huge well done to the pupils who put forward their artwork and photography.
