Marlborough College pupils have secured an impressive set of results following the Junior Physics Challenge – taken by over 10,000 pupils nationwide.
186 Shell and Remove pupils from Marlborough sat the paper (aimed at Year 10 pupils) with a return of 177 medal certificates including 12 Gold, 57 Silver and 108 Bronze.
The Junior Physics Challenge competition is designed to engage and challenge pupils of all abilities by offering them a range of problems to solve. Although most of the questions are based around the current GCSE curriculum, pupils can gain more marks if they have a general knowledge in physics as well as taking a keen interest in practical work in lessons.
Congratulations to all who took part and a special well done to those 12 College pupils who achieved Gold (requiring over 78%), especially the following six who gained over 80%:
