Beginning on the 7th November, over 800 pupils and members of Common Room took part in the school-wide game of ‘Assassins’: a game that has been a long-standing tradition at the College, played annually.
This year, we raised money for the Royal British Legion, a charity that was at the forefront of everyone’s minds, particularly during the time of Remembrance. Overall, we raised an incredible total of £1,120 and thanks go to everyone who took part.
Due to COVID restrictions, this was our first time playing in four years, and the atmosphere around school was better than ever, with many ‘eliminations’ taking place over the first few days. The eliminations continued and the numbers quickly dwindled so that after a week we had two winners: congratulations to Rory C (U6) and Sophia E (L6).
Through playing this game, we hoped to raise awareness for the thousands of serving and ex-serving personnel and their families, through supporting those within the Armed Forces community. Thank you to everyone who played, and everyone who supported, as we helped raise money for this incredible cause.
