Marlborough support Movember

Thursday 1st December 2022

The arrival of December has signaled the end of Movember at Marlborough, which saw a selection of pupils and staff show their support of the men’s health charity.

Since 2003, Movember has funded more than 1,250 men’s health projects around the world, shaking up men’s health research and transforming the way health services reach and support men.

Ten pupils joined nine members of staff in attempting to ‘grow a mo’ throughout November. Their combined efforts have raised a fantastic sum of £3,605 for Movember thanks to donations and a Movember Mega Sale.

Chris Tanner, Website & Social Media Manager, commented: “As a Movember Sports Ambassador, I have seen the value of their work with mental health, prostate cancer and testicular cancer. Having a number of Upper Sixth pupils involved this year has been wonderful and on behalf of ‘Team MC’, thank you to everyone who has supported this incredible cause.”
