The final chapter of the 2022/23 academic year opens this evening as pupils return for the start of the Summer Term.
I hope that the Easter break has been a restorative and productive one for all pupils and their families and for all members of staff.
A rich number of overseas trips took place during the holiday including visits to CERN in Switzerland (Physics), Costa Rica (Geography), Portugal (pre-season tennis) and France (the junior ski trip).
As I look forward to the new term, I offer my very best wishes to those 457 pupils sitting public examinations. I know you have all worked extremely hard and will be well placed and well supported in achieving your goals.
The Summer Term holds many milestone events for all Year Groups, from OA week for the Shell, to Skill-Up week for the Hundred as they look forward to moving into the Sixth Form, to the Master’s Invitational Dance and Leavers’ Ball for the Upper Sixth. It also includes our most celebrated full College event, Commemoration and Prize Day.
With so much to come, I am excited about what the term will bring and I look forward to seeing many of you in future weeks.
