Boys’ XI captain Joe F topped scored with 73 in a dramatic tie against Wellington, whilst Ludo C hit 71 for the Colts 1. Mentions also go to Freddie P (4th XI) and Tommy L (JC1) who both scored 67. In tennis, there were 25 fixtures on Saturday against Wellington College, Sherborne Girls and Cheltenham Ladies’ College. Marlburians past and present enjoy competing against each other. Experience told over youth as the OMs won but a special shout out to Rory S and Alex C for winning their match-ups and to Ollie B for another impressive showing. It was also great to see returning Marlburians who were keen to hear about school news and reminisce over their time at the College.

There were some strong performances from the girls in their swimming match at the Downe House Relay Invitational this week (above). The junior girls finished third in their medley relay with a time of 2:25.7 featuring Helena C, Saffy R, Clarendon H-T, and Kate H. The senior girls finished second in the free relay with contributions from Nina B, Jaz, Carina H, Poppy M and Beth P helping the girls finish in fourth place overall.
