The annual Shell Steeplechase took place on Thursday 14th September under clear skies. 75 girls and 100 boys completed the 1.5 mile cross country course around the perimeter of the College playing fields.
The winner of the girls’ race was Poppy H, with Amelie H in 2nd and Lollie W in 3rd. Mill Mead won the team event by 80 points from Elmhurst.
The winner of the boys’ race was Will J, with John-Michael L finishing 2nd and Ollie C in 3rd. Turner won the team event by 50 points from C2.
A new record was set in the girls’ race.
Girls: 9.23 (previous record 9.30)
Boys: 8.30 (record 8.16)
