This week is National Anti-Bullying Week and the theme is “Power for Good”. Every year, bullying impacts the lives of countless young people and silence helps it grow. This year’s theme encourages us all to use our power to safely speak up and raise awareness when we see bullying, face to face or online.
The week began with Odd Socks Day: an opportunity to unite in solidarity against bullying by wearing odd socks to celebrate what makes us all unique.
Across the week, the Wellbeing Ambassadors will be talking at year group Assemblies about mutual respect and who to speak to for support.
Well done to everyone who has taken part in Odd Socks Day and helped drive forward the message that we can create lasting change and build a world where kindness wins.
