As our netball programme continues to go from strength to strength, we are delighted to welcome Ellen Morgan to the position of Head of Netball, starting in November.
A Welsh international, Ellen represents the Welsh Feathers at senior level, making her debut in January 2024. Ellen helped the Welsh Feathers secure the inaugural Celtic Cup, where she was named Player of the Match against Northern Ireland, and has also represented Wales in Test Series against Uganda and Zimbabwe. Her impressive playing career includes captaining Team Bath’s NXT Gen squad, and making her Team Bath Superleague debut in June 2023 within the Fast5 All-Stars competition.
Alongside her elite playing experience, Ellen brings a wealth of coaching and educational experience, having previously worked as Netball Performance Coach at Millfield School and most recently as Head of Netball at Royal High School Bath. Her experience of the performance pathway will be invaluable in identifying, nurturing and developing talented young players, helping them realise their potential both on and off the court.
Ellen’s arrival will provide further opportunities for our netballers to develop their skills and progress within the sport as she embraces the breadth and depth of the programme with 22 teams competing across the Lent Term. Within the Independent Schools’ Netball Competition, the U15A look forward to their next round fixture vs Taunton School, with the 1st VII due to travel to Epsom College. We very much look forward to seeing Ellen’s impact across the netball programme in the season ahead.
