Kay Kiggell
Kay joined Marlborough College in 2003, a year after her husband, Tom. She had previously taught at Haileybury College in Hertfordshire and at Downe House in Berkshire. In both schools, she was Deputy Housemistress and Acting Housemistress in girls’ boarding houses to cover maternity leave. She has an MA in Modern Languages from Somerville College, Oxford University, and completed a PGCE at Homerton College, Cambridge University.
She currently teaches German, Italian and French. She moved into Morris House as RHT in 2015, having been a tutor there for 12 years. She plays an important role in the College’s Outreach programme and is an Advisor within the Guidance Department.
Kay and Tom have two Old Marlburian children and the family enjoys travelling, walking and playing lots of sport together. Kay enjoys swimming, horse riding, yoga, dance, knitting, tennis, reading, theatre, the countryside and modern architecture.

Key Facts
The house is named after John Dancy (Master, 1961–72) and his wife, Angela, who pioneered the introduction of girls to Marlborough in 1968. The impressive modern building opened in August 2018, coinciding with the 50th year of welcoming girls at the College. The house occupies a central location, conveniently close to all of the College facilities.

Larissa Goodger
Resident House Tutor
Miss Goodger joined Dancy in 2025. She teaches Maths and coaches hockey and tennis. She also plays hockey herself and is a big fan of country music.
Issy Devine
Resident House Tutor
Miss Devine is a Graduate Teaching Assistant in the Psychology department, and she also coaches Lacrosse at the College. She loves watching and playing sport and enjoys holidays in Europe with her friends and family.
Stephanie Wilson
Dame
Stephanie joined the Dancy team in December 2022 and has a great deal of experience working with children, in schools and in administration.
