Christine was educated at Nottingham Trent University and the University of Birmingham and is a qualified and registered social worker. She was previously Head of Safeguarding at Aston Villa Football Club, where she developed a safeguarding strategy aligned with FA Premier League standards following the club’s promotion in 2019. Prior to this, she worked internationally for the Ministry of Defence supporting safeguarding in overseas education settings.
Christine is a Council Member of the Football Association, Senior Non-Executive Director of the Oxfordshire Football Association, and serves on the boards of several charities.
She joined Marlborough as Director of Safeguarding in October 2021, becoming Deputy Head (Safeguarding) in January 2025.
