David Madden

David graduated with a BEng in Product Design Engineering from Glasgow University and Glasgow School of Art before joining Marlborough in 2012.

While at Marlborough, David has completed his PGCE and his Masters in Design Education at Goldsmiths, University of London. After tutoring in Barton Hill, he joined Littlefield as Resident House Tutor in 2017. He has coached basketball, hockey and rugby and is also a timekeeper at our athletics events in the summer.

David is on the governing body of Baydon St. Nicholas Primary School and sits on the Quality of Education Committee. He is also a residential course supervisor with the Smallpiece Trust, a charity that inspires young people to pursue careers in science and engineering, and is an advocate for developing engineering and design opportunities within education.

David is engaged to Argyll, who is a member of the College Medical Centre team and a tutor in Littlefield. They enjoy the outdoors and, with their trusty campervan, enjoy mountain biking, snowboarding, climbing and walking.
