Simon studied English Language & Literature at Queen’s University, Belfast, before teaching undergraduate courses there and taking a PhD in Renaissance literature. He subsequently taught English at King’s College School in London and introduced History of Art to the curriculum.
He has been Head of History of Art at Marlborough since 2011.
Among his other roles at the College he is Keeper of Rare Books, an English beak and a tutor in New Court.
