Emma was educated at Sutton High School GDST, before studying Engineering and Geography at the University of Cambridge and Physiotherapy at King’s College London.
Her first career was in Physiotherapy, specialising in Women’s Health at the John Radcliffe Hospital in Oxford and opening her own private practice in Marlborough. In 2017, she took the plunge into teaching, retraining and working at St. John’s School in Marlborough, where she become Deputy Head of Faculty in 2020. Having lived and breathed the boarding life with her husband, Gareth, both at St. Edward’s School in Oxford and in C2 at Marlborough, she joined Marlborough College as a teacher in 2022.
Outside the classroom, Emma is a keen hockey player – representing the West Masters in regional competitions – and coach. She lives in C2 with Gareth and their two children.
