James studied English at Manchester, before going on to complete an MSc in Information and Library Studies at Robert Gordon University. He joined Marlborough in 2013 and has been Librarian since 2015. Prior to working at the College, he held a number of posts in both local authority and educational libraries.
James is a passionate reader and seeks to inspire a love of books in young people. He lives in Swindon with his wife, Kimberley, and their son, Alfred.
