Lirette Mill is an experienced HR leader with over a decade of expertise in the education sector. Before joining the College, she was Head of HR Advisory Services at HR Connect, where she led a team supporting more than 500 schools with strategic and operational HR guidance.
She began her career in law in 2003 before moving into HR in 2010, bringing valuable expertise in compliance, safeguarding, case management, and policy development. Lirette is also an accredited Safer Recruitment trainer with the Lucy Faithfull Foundation and has worked closely with Local Authority safeguarding teams to strengthen safe practices in schools.
Alongside her professional role, she contributes to education governance as a Trust Board Director and Chair of the People Committee for a Multi-Academy Trust. She has also served as a Governor and safeguarding lead at a Church of England infant school.
