Music Secretary & PA to Artistic Director

Louisa Freeman

After graduating from Manchester University with a Double Honours degree in Modern Languages, Louisa worked on projects for Cable & Wireless Communications in London. She then took a career break to look after her busy and growing family, returning to work in 2016 first as a teaching assistant, and latterly as Admissions Manager in a large pre-prep school in Herne Hill, south London.

Louisa, Adam and their four children relocated from Dulwich to West Berkshire in the summer of 2019 and are enjoying countryside walks with their three Labradors.

Louisa has always been passionate about music and the arts. As a teenager she learned the violin and the piano and has always encouraged her children to take up an instrument. Between them they have studied singing, piano, cello, trumpet, percussion, marimba, trombone and bass trombone. Louisa has been a member of several choirs and choral societies over the years, performing most recently in Southwark Cathedral. The family are all avid and enthusiastic music listeners with preferences ranging from west coast hip hop to the baroque, from musical theatre to reggae.
